• What the students will do
Choose at least five anatomical directions and five body regions and write a description that includes these terms in describing an activity.
write the description
read the description to the class
class will determine the action being described
Using page 12 in blue book, use the body regions instead of the common name with your anatomical directions.
Today you will write a description of an action that would occur during the school day, (such as opening a locker) using anatomical directions and body regions (pg 12). You must describe all body parts, directions, actions and equipment (if needed) in descriptive terms. You may not list or give hints using the names of body parts or pieces of equipment. Some descriptions will be read in class, allowing other students the opportunity to determine the action or activity you are performing. You will be assessed on the criteria of terminology and the ability to visualize the activity.
