A short time at the beginning of each class will be set aside to answer any questions concerning the previous homework assignment. It is strongly recommended that you do all of the homework assigned in order to insure your success. Review – There will be a “practice test” that is available on my website (the practice test is called a review). You should complete the practice test by yourself, then watch the corresponding video to check your work. Exams- There are 7 tests and a comprehensive final exam scheduled. ALL TESTS MUST BE TAKEN ON THE DAY AND TIME LISTED ON THE SYLLABUS. IN VERY SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES YOU MAY TAKE A TEST EARLY. Final Exam – The final exam is comprehensive (see the last page for the final exam date and time for your class). Your score on your final exam will replace your lowest test score. I will drop your score on the final exam if it is your lowest test score. Make-ups - No make-up exams will be given. If you miss an exam you will get a 0 for your score, your score on the final exam will replace this test score. You will receive a grade of 0 on any exam after the first exam you miss and have no chance to improve your grade. IN VERY SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES YOU MAY TAKE A TEST EARLY. You have until the first person turns in their test on exam day to start your test, if you are later than that I will count the exam as missed. It will be hard to pass this class if you don’t come often. Do your own work: Do not cheat or allow anyone to cheat from you. See student handbook for consequences. Taping: Permitted, however, good notes are more useful.
