REQUIREMENT FOR PROJECT 1 (CHE498): 32 HOURS
Objective of the project: TO apply c principles of Chemical
Engineering learnt over the previous years (mass and energy
balances, heat and mass transfers, separation process, reactor
eng, economics, thermodynamics, etc…)
– Project must be related to a design of a plant or part of a plant
and must include mass and energy balances, as well as design
of equipment, study of safety and environment aspects and cost
calculations.

DOING HAND CALCULATIONS.

OF EACH STUDENT MUST BE CLEAR

EQUIPMENT FOR EACH STUDENT IN THE CASE OF
A GROUP PROJECT).
• - ALL DESIGN CALCULATIONS MUST BE MADE BY
HAND AND FULLY EXPLAINED AND JUSTIFIED.
