Materials: In this class, you will need:
pens, pencils, and paper
Make-up / Late Work
Students will be allotted one additional day
to complete assignments for each day that
they are absent.
Failure to complete the make-up
assignments by the allotted time will result
in the make-up work becoming LATE
WORK. Missed tests, quizzes, and projects
should be scheduled at a convenient time for
both the teacher and student.
Late work is work not completed due to
student neglect.
Late projects and creative assignments will
only be taken two days late at a point
reduction of 25 points per day.
HOMEWORK CHECKS ARE TAKEN AS A
COMPLETION GRADE AND WILL NOT BE
TAKEN FOR A LATE GRADE. STUDENTS
COMPLETE THEIR HW AND HAVE IT IN
CLASS THAT DAY OR IT IS A ZERO.
This policy is due to the fact that we go
over and correct answers in class the day
homework is due. If a student neglected
to complete the assignment, they do not
get credit and record the answers as
notes.
HW assignments will occasionally be taken
for an accuracy grade. This is the only
time HW will be accepted late. These
assignments will only be taken one day late
for half credit.
