• SBAC testing begins this year, based on
COMMON CORE STANDARDS
• In 5th grade- also tested in CST Science and

Reading levels
• Scholastic Reading Inventory SRI will be used to
determine each students’ reading level. Each student
will be re-assessed every 6 weeks.
• Min. of 20 minutes of reading every day
• Reading Logs will determine:
• Total number of minutes each week as well as each
month
• Parent signature required at conclusion of week
• Reading Log activities will be turned in every FRI.
