Upgradation of existing Operation Theatre (OT- IV of First Floor O.T) into Prefabricated
Modular Operation Theatre
Prefabricated Modular Operation Theatre is the state of art technology in medical
environment. The need to have a Modular Operation Theatre is driven from the necessity of
having an advance design to minimize infection, very high hygiene standard, clear air, better
work efficiency, long durability, robust and flexibility of design for future up gradation & ease of
maintenance.
First Floor Operation Theatre Complex has 4 major operation theatres i.e. OT-I,
OT-II, OT-III, OT-IV. Following requirements of Prefabricated Modular Operation
Theatre already exist in proposed Operation Theatre i.e. OT IV for up gradation into
Modular Operation Theatre:
1. Ultra clean ventilation through ceiling (Vertical Laminar Flow System).
2. Medical Gases pipelines system.
3. Multi movement ceiling and wall pendant systems.
4. Suction and oxygen supply units
5. Ceiling – Integral Lighting System..
6. Surgical scrubs station
7. Power Backup
8. High Speed autoclave / sterilization for immediate / emergency requirement of sterilizing
equipment.
9. Waiting Room.
10. Pharmaceutical storage including refrigeration facilities.
Apart from above, the following work needs to be done for upgrading one Operation
Theatre at First Floor Operation Theatre i.e. OT-IV into modular operation theatre :1. Operation Theatre Department
Structural prefabricated Modular Operation Theatre with joint less EGP seats 1.5 mm to
1.60 mm thick panels backed by 12 mm gypsum board along with sealed antibacterial
sterile wall coating with all accessories.
2. Paneled Modular Wall & Ceiling System with lighting system & Air Plenum.
3. AGSS – Anesthesia Gas Scavenging System outlets to suck the waste anesthetic gases.
4. Hermetically sealing sliding doors with
a. High quality door lock
b. Electronic automatic unit for door
c. Should have door controller either being operated by elbow / foot / radar (touch
less sensor) switches and all doors should be able to operate manually in the event
of power failure.
d. Should have vision panel of appropriate size.
e. Door frame should be of high quality and ensure efficient sealing of the doors.
5. Pendent system for monitor, anesthesia equipment, surgical equipments
6. It should have closed circuit TV facility.
7. Static Conductive Flooring – Floors should be smooth, nonslip, impervious material
conductive enough to dissipate static electricity but not conductive enough to endanger
personnel from shock. The flooring should either be inset mosaic with least possible joints
and copper strips to carry away any static electricity produced or of joint less conductive
tiles. Conductive copper mesh and self leveling epoxy flooring may be done. Flooring
should be complete with all necessary accessories.
8. Ceiling should be painted with washable paint and corners of the rooms should be round
off to prevent collection of dirt and duct.
9. There should be emergency communication system that can be activated without the use of
hands.
10. Provision of Hatch / Pass Box for removing waste material from operation theatre to dirty
area with ultraviolet light, visual and audio alarm for door opening and closing along with
all necessary fitting.
11. Surgeons control panel complete with all accessories.
12. Magnetic writing board complete with all necessary fittings
13. Cascade pressure stabilizer for maintaining positive pressure inside the theatre complete
with all necessary fitting.
14. Flat Two plate X-Ray viewing screen with flicker free luminance for film viewing purpose
with all necessary fitting.
Terms and Conditions:
1. Accredited agencies who had already undertaken and completed similar projects in major
Corporate/ or large Government Institution in India.
2. The firm should provide relevant standard certifications of individual work done..
3. The firm should supply, install, test, fix and commission all the required work.
4. The equipment supplied should have warranty from manufacturer only.
5. Designing, construction and commissioning of Prefabricated Modular Operation Theatre,
Facilities need specialized agencies hence the firm should engage qualified Hospital Consultancy
adopting standard procedure.
7. The firm should provide service maintenance warranty for 5 years and good service back up.
8. The firm may inspect the site during office hours i.e. 9.00 am to 4.00 pm in any working day.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR FIRM
1. The firm quoting products/items should be a reputed firm& Accredited agencies who had
already undertaken and completed similar projects in major Corporate/ or large Government
Institution in India.
2. Only manufacturer / their authorized agent will be considered for purchase. If the tender is
submitted by third person, he has to submit original copy of agreement form from the
manufacturer / authorize agent in the name of MS HRH that the manufacturer / authorized agent
will be responsible for guarantee / warranty of products/items along with
(A) Deposits of applicable security money of the same.
(B) The AMC/CMC along with availability of spares and consumable, will also be responsibility
of manufacturer / original vendor for total 10 yrs
(C) The company should quote products/items of latest technology.
(D) Rate quoted are not more than quoted in the other Govt. institute
(E) Any other Query from time to time in patient care only will be put to the original vendor.
3. The firm should be able to demonstrate installed products/items in working order preferably in
NCR.
4. The firm can also quote any other additional accessories if desired for the proper functioning
of the products/items
5. The firm should give quoted warranty for 5 years and thereafter CMC rates for the next
5 year, on year-wise basis & good service back up..
6. The firm should also give a copy of CMC done in other Govt. Hospital list of consumable with
spare-parts & rates should be quoted (same as quoted in other Govt. Hospitals.).
7. The firms should provide spare of products/items for 10 years.
8. The firm should have satisfactory working products/items certificate from the other Govt.
Hospitals.
9. The firm should be reputed and quote good quality latest products/items.
10. The tender should be submitted in double bid i e. Technical & Financial bid separately.
11. The security amount of as per rule must be deposited for the purchase of products/items by
the firm.
12. List of users in Delhi should be submitted.
13. Should provide exhaustive list of spares and consumables with rates.
14. The e-etenderer should put page number on the documents uploaded on the e-tender.
15. The etenderer should put a checklist indicating the particular document is placed on which
page number.
16. The etenderer should put a cover note of acceptance of all the terms and conditions of the
tender.
