We are pleased to invite you to our 2nd Erasmus Staff Training Week at the University of Economics in
Katowice, taking place from 19 to 24 May 2014.
The training titled "Soft skills in the international setting" is intended primarily for international office staff.
The topics include:
Successful communication with students
Communication barriers and difficulties
Main sources of misunderstandings
Effective communication channels
Strategies for successful communication with students
Presentation skills and public speaking
Most common presentation mistakes
Nonverbal communication
How to deal with stage fright
Successful self-presentation
Apart from taking part in the courses, participants will have the opportunity to get to know our university and visit attractive places in the region.
