Old Business
o Approve the Two year course overlay plan for future class schedules. (Cost) Approved –
may use courses at other colleges for completion. Recommend that faculty try to offer all
core courses (per overlay plan) at G.C.C.
 Approve Coordination of overlay plan between disciplines. (Cost) Voluntary
effort to coordinate scheduling by faculty.
o Approval of repeating High School visits next Spring. (Cost) Tabled
 Volunteer(s) to assemble materials for visits.


Establish standards for scheduling the delivery format for courses. See Flex Learning
Formats. Scheduled per V.P. of Instruction.
 Structured – Instructor was paid “full load” for the same course within the past
year or agreed to by consensus of BPC/CIS faculty.
 Hybrid – faculty prefers to teach structured but does not meet the above criterion.
 On-line – assumed format unless requested otherwise by faculty member.
