together. It usually connects a
subject (noun/pronoun) and an
adjective.

Appear, become, feel, look, grow,
seem, smell, taste, may be, will
be, have been

Linking Verbs
 replace
verb with is or are to see
if it makes sense. If it does,
then it is a linking verb.
 She
is a singer.
