Hitler’s domestic policy 1933-1945
IB History – Rakochy
Using your books by Todd and Waller, Morris and Murphy, Hite and Hinton, (and any other book sources
you have such as Farmer, Trayner) and electronic sources, create a study aid concerning Nazi domestic
policy between 1933 -1945. You will be graded on the mark scheme given to you separately. In order to
help focus your work, and to use appropriate historical language, I have included questions (from Morris
and Murphy) as well as some key words. You will be required to list and use an additional 6 key terms
equaling a total of 10 that must be integrated into your project. In order for those key terms to be
identified and receive due credit, you must place the key terms in bold print the first time you use them.
You must turn in the following:
A. An overview/table of contents of what your project contains
B. A study aid in the form of: a booklet or a graphic organizer, or an electronic version of one of the
aforementioned (as this is a study aid, bullet points may be used as well as shortened words)
C. At least 10 Key terms (including the 4 included) with definitions and used in context.
D. A works cited page with at least 3 books referenced (and therefore actually used) along with
any other sources
You may choose to organize your study aid into sections as suggested below, or you may choose to
integrate 1 or more of the questions together. You will work in pairs with each person responsible for 4
of the questions below (you will be graded on your contribution only). Alternatively, you may choose to
complete the task entirely on your own, but the same timeframe will be applied in either case. Be
aware that each of the questions is large and will have multiple examples to support responses. They
should be viewed as thematic and allow for an integration of numerous contributions. Do not rely upon
one text or one source as certain sources do a much better job than others. For example, Morris and
Murphy ask great questions but give fewer details than Hite and Hinton.
