GoodSports Prayer Family
• GoodSports needs your help to cover
these kids in prayer.
• Would you consider coming along side
and praying for one of these kids for a
year?
• If so let me know and I will send you
updates on your Child.

Roli’s favorite
book is Revelation.
He asked me what
color he would be
when he gets to
heaven. He is tired
of fighting daily
just because he is
gypsy brown.
As a child Gabi watched his
mother get strangled by a
boyfriend. His hurts are
deep. This summer he
accepted Christ, but the road
is long and hard for him.
He struggles to belong and
this sometimes means drugs
and alcohol. Please pray that
he can stand firm in Christ’s love.
Tomi is our latest
orphanage GoodSports
Intern. He wonders if he
can ever be pure
enough for baptism.
Tomi, 17, is a father,
lives in the Miskolc
orphanage.
His spiritual walk is slow
and sometimes painful.
Pray that he continues
to be in a discipleship
relationship with
our GSI mentor –
Karesz.
Noemi can be a loner and does not follow the
crowd. Her walls hide hurt, but sometimes she
lets us in. Pray that we can love her for what
she is and help her to see HIM. (She is also
a member of the family of nine at the
orphanage.
One of nine in the orphanage, Fruzi is
growing fast but what is she learning?
To protect herself she has erected
tall walls to protect herself. Pray that
we can find ways to patiently enter her
lonesome space.
Baptism is the start of our walk with God.
Bela took that first step, but has a tough
time focusing on prayer and bible study.
School, girls, the need to belong, all distract
him from his pursuit of holiness.
Pray that he will continue to meet with
our GoodSports Discipler.
Like many of the boys Denes
is lured away by girls, girls
and more girls. He seeks
to know love in a way that
is finite. Pray that he rejoins
our bible study and seeks Christ’s
love.
Recently loosing both parents
in an accident. Anita moves
closer to God as she meets
and talks with Christian women.
Pray that we can continue to share our
love for Christ with her in ways that
encourage and comfort her.
Agi is the eldest of
nine siblings at the
orphanage.
The burden of being
the oldest at age 15
are hard to carry.
Agi is a warm
open teen, who
has suffered
too many
disappointments
by adults. Her
emotional walls
are high.
Mario is always peering around the corner,
watching and waiting. Making sure that it
is safe to come out.
Pray that we can reach Mario and his brother
(Csabi) this summer.
Csabi will be 13 this year and can now
technically travel with us to camps. Pray
that we can show him Christ in our words
and deeds.
Evi is a light to others. Despite scars from adult neglect,
she is a loving example to many. She needs to meet with
adult Christian
women, who
can encourage
her to stay
true to her
commitment
to Christ.
Please pray
that she
continues
to meet with
our new
weekly girls
support group
Kristof, Levi, Misi, Bali,
Benji, and Abel will
probably be adopted
separately. Our prayer
is the a Christian family
can adopt as many
as possible to keep the
family together (there are
nine total).
Moving through the teen
years is tough for everyone.
But especially so for those
who yearn to be loved.
Viki desires the comfort of
Christ, but lacks the
strength to seek him
out.
Please pray that she grows
spiritually. Her walk with
Him is sporadic and sometimes
hard to see.
And yet her need is plain to see.
Kriszti, is a delight. We have a small window to work with
before, her emotional walls fall into place to hide her from
emotional harm. Please pray that we have enough
volunteers to show her HIS love.
Erzi’s parents are unable to
care for her. So she lives
at the orphanage. Sweet
and gentle, she does not
know how to read. Please
pray that our volunteers can
help her to not only read but
to enjoy the love of Christ.
Gyuri and Laci are in bakers
Vocational training and seem to
Enjoy it. This means they can
Stay at the orphanage till age
24.
Gyuri avoids any bible study
Invitations and Laci is just
friendly. Please pray that we
can make Inroads into their
lives.
Beautiful and a baseball player too! Ildiko continues
to thrive on the Word of God. Soon she will have to
leave the orphanage. Her future is her greatest fear.
Pray that she continues
to participate in our new
girls support group that
meets weekly. That
her example my help
other girls come to
group.
Baptism is the first step in the
sanctification process. Arpi, a
former gang member, with
a police track record, is having
a tough time keeping in touch
with Christ. Pray that he joins
us for our weekly bible study.
Reni is 24, and has a child.
Her boyfriend was violent
and we are supporting her
efforts to remain free of him.
Food, wood for heat, and
all the bare necessities are
needed.
Pray that she kind find child
care for David so that she
can work to support them
both.
Pray that she continues to
find comfort in Christ.
Norbi accepted Christ
and is one of the
major reasons we
started a village
youth group. I pray
that he comes one day.
He was baptized
without his parents
permission. Please
pray that he grows in
the Lord.
Tibi is assistant coach for the
Mosquitoes baseball team.
He is starting to assist in the
village youth group.
Religion is new to his family. Please
pray that he accepts Christ.
Atilla is on the baseball team.
Like many villagers
religion is relic of the
past. Perhaps this year we
can make it more relevant. Pray
that we are the kind of witness
that will show him Christ’s love.
Csabi like all kids is growing under the
normal teenage pressures. Will he come
to Christ? He has volunteered to help
with our new youth group. He is both
a catcher and pitcher on the baseball
team. Pray that the Holy Spirit touches his
life.
Gerge and Bence are brothers.
Both enjoy baseball but have not
attended any youth group events.
A wall exists between baseball and
spiritual issues. Pray that the wall
comes down.
Norbi is 15, he has stomach Cancer.
His mother supports the family of 5.
Dad is also ill, doesn’t work
No indoor plumbing and wood to heat
their home runs out frequently.
Norbi accepted Christ at 14 and was
baptized. His leap of faith has
brought his family back to the church.
When he is well he plays on the Mosquito
baseball team.
Pisti plays on the baseball team.
He too is recording what we
say and how we act.
Please pray that our actions point
to Christ’s love.
Tomi is having a rough time at school,
so they moved him to a school that
specializes in “hard” cases. Haven’t
seen him in a while. Pray, he will
rejoin baseball this summer. Tomi
accepted Christ, but needs discipleship.
Our star pitcher, Imi,
has avoided us for about
a year.
Gerge is four but his kidney
problem and related health
issues have stunted his growth.
Please pray that he heals and
that we can love him for as long
as he is with us.
Robi is our chronic runaway.
suffering chronic lung problems
he chooses to ignore his
medications, school, and
the caretakers at the orphanage.
He rarely participates
in any GoodSports events.
Bela is trying to be cool.
Too young to fit in,
he goes with the flow
and lacks the strength
or will to stop.
Please pray that we can
show him how COOL,
Christ can be.
Tomi is 18 and
is will be out of
the orphanage soon.
What he will do? where
will he go?
A question that all our
kids must answer
relatively soon in their
lives.
GoodSports is more than just sports.
