GUIDING PRINCIPLES
FOR VENDOR SELECTION
1.
BASE LEVEL EXPERIENCE
Experience delivering high quality cleaning services and hospitality
ambassador programs in public/ private pedestrian environments similar to
Downtown Detroit
2.
DETROIT FOCUS
Experience and/or commitment to buy local, employ Detroit residents and
utilize training programs targeted to those with barriers to employment
3. CUSTOMER SERVICE FOCUS
High-level customer service/teamwork focus and effective service
measurement/feedback system
4. COST EFFECTIVENESS
Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality services in a cost competitive
manner
5. INNOVATION & FLEXIBILITY
Utilize national best practices; flexibility to respond to evolving client
requirements
