As a key player in this coaching and learning organization the successful candidate will focus
on existing priorities while guiding and influencing the future of the organization, and leading
the Human Resources and Staff Development Team.
The individual’s knowledge of related policy and evidence based practice in such areas as
Labour and Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits, Organizational Development,
and Total Talent Management are all incorporated in the mandate of this role. Additionally, the
ideal candidate will have demonstrated the following personal attributes: diplomacy and tact,
interpersonal skills, conflict management, personal accountability, continuous learning, selfmanagement, and teamwork. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively
in a fast-paced organization are essential.
Reporting to the General Manager, Employee and Business Services, the ideal candidate will
have a university degree in a related discipline (HR Management, Business, Labour
Relations), plus a minimum of five (5) years related experience in HR Leadership. A CMM IIIHR Professional or CHRP designation would be an asset.
Compensation: $76,067 - $95,084 per annum, plus a competitive benefits package.
