If you check online sites such
as Amazon, you will be able to
find the SIMbook registration
code for Excel 2013 but it will
not be bundled with the Office
2013 trial version and the
price could be higher. If you
have Office 2013 and find a
good deal, then it is fine to
purchase it elsewhere.

SIMnet for
Microsoft
Office 2013
SIMnet includes both learning and assessment
components to master Excel skills to become a
proficient user.
Microsoft
Office 2013
This can be confusing for students because of
various Office suites. Do you want to purchase
Office 365 (subscription and cloud) or Office
2013 for the desktop? Microsoft is
recommending for the student “Office 365
University” for 79.99. It does NOT include
Access. Is Access needed? You may only need
Access if you are taking the Access course
online. If you wish to work entirely from home,
then you would have to purchase the
Professional suite which is costly. To see all
Office 2013 products, click on this link:
Microsoft Office 2013 products page.

Office 365 University is available at
the Owens Campus bookstore.
Note to MAC and Office 2010
users. You will be able to
accomplish some of the
assignments without Office 2013.
You would need access to a PC with
2013 also. Office 2013 is installed
at the DTCC campuses.
Ask your instructor for further
assistance concerning Office 2013.
