Register for SimNet
1.
Go to https://vt.simnetonline.com/sp/
Do not Google SimNet as each university has a separate SimNet site.
2.
Enter your VT PID as your Username and your VT Student ID# as your Password.
3.
Select Yes if you purchased the textbook bundle at the bookstore and have a SimNet
Registration code.
Select No if you do not have a registration code. You can purchase a registration code
online, but note, you may have difficulty purchasing the textbook separately from
SimNet and SimNet is a sizeable portion of the textbook bundle price. To purchase a
SimNet Registration code online, you will have to agree to the License Agreement,
Select SimNet 2013 Standalone Suite and enter your credit card or PayPal information.
4.
Enter the registration code from the card included in your textbook bundle and
select Register.
5.
Select ACIS 1504.

This screen displays SimNet assignments that I have setup for you. Only SimPath
assignments are graded. See the class website for more details.
The Exams currently listed are Practice Exams provided as a study aid for the Final Exam.
Practice Exams are not graded and optional. The Final Exam will not appear under the
Exams link until the end of the semester.
Sign Out when you are ready to exit SimNet.
