Go to the SIMnet site (there is also a link in Blackboard ): https://cts.simnetonline.com.
On the homepage click No, but I have a code . (Follow the arrows on the screenshots to locate the instructions in this handout.)
Click Yes for the question: Do you attend Central Piedmont Community College – CTS?
Click No for the question: Do you already have a SIMnet Online username? Please note: click Yes if you were enrolled in CIS110 starting summer 2014 semester or forward semesters.
Click Next

Accept the License Agreement and click Next .
Under Class Name select your class. Your class will start with the semester , year , course name and the instructor’s name (see example course above).
Click Next .

Enter your access code in the Code window. Click Next .
Complete the Personal Information section. You must use your college email address. Do not use personal email addresses. Please note: Do not include your CPCC Student ID. Create a Student ID such as your last name and the semester ( example: DoeFall2014 ).
Click Next .

You should see the confirmation page. Click Finish .
You will use your username and password to login to the SIMnet site.
Return to
Blackboard
and go to the next module to learn how to work in SIMnet.
