Use the following : reinforcement, punishment, shaping,
schedules of reinforcement, extinction, skinner box, operant
chamber AND provide a description of a correct relationship to
behavior. OR
Provide this general Skinnerian idea: Behavior is a function of it’s
consequences.
Use: vicarious reinforcement,vicarious punishment, observational
learning, bobo doll studies, modeling, cognitive mediation,
reciprocal determinism, self-efficacy, self regulation of behavior
AND relate the term to learning. OR provide this Bandurian idea:
“People learn by observing others”
Use : secure attachment, insecure attachment, anxious-resistant,
anxious-avoidant, resistant, avoidant, ambivalent, disorganized,
disoriented. And provide a description that includes one of these
ideas: SECURELY ATTACHED CHILDREN ARE MORE LIKELY TO
PERCIEVE THEIR PRIMARY CARETAKER AS A SECURE BASE,explore
surroundings, or have a positive reaction to a parent. Insecurely
attached children are less likely to… or cling to parent
Use: authoritative, authoritarian, permissive, indulgent,
neglectful, indifferent, rejecting, uninvolved AND describe some
accurate aspect of the designated parenting style.
Correct application; parents extinguish the tantrum, parents
reinforce for a different behavior, parents punish the tantrum.
Parents provide a model for sharing; parents increase sharing via
vicarious reinforcement; parents increase child’s self efficacy for
sharing parents share a behavior with their child viA social learing
mechanism.
Parents promote secure attachment to increase self reliance or
example (nurturing, support, sensitivity . .)
Use of authoritative style AND high
warmth/love/communication/responsiveness to increase self
esteem.
