Student Technology Consultant – UWB/CCC Campus Library
Help meet the technology needs of students in the Campus Library Information Commons and
beyond, conducting research, writing papers, and working on class projects. Student Technology
Consultants have the opportunity to help patrons access online resources and use Microsoft Office
and other applications to complete assignments, and also assist in the circulation of books and
laptops. This is a great job for those interested in careers in IT, public service, or communications,
and it is a great resume builder! Up to 19.5 hours are offered per week, with a flexible work
schedule.

Summer and Fall 2014 Peer Consultants – Writing and Communication Center
Peer Consultants tutor UW Bothell students through individual conferences, group workshops
(within and outside of scheduled courses) and peer groups. The Writing Center’s goal is to help
students become stronger, more confident writers and communicators. Peer consultants are also
responsible for completing projects related to educational outreach, marketing and/or teaching.
Candidates must have a strong interest and passion for writing, commit for at least one year, and be
able to work with students, faculty, and staff in a courteous manner. Multilingual writers are

HFS Operations Assistant – Housing and Food Services
This position works in the HFS Operations office within Auxiliary Services and requires a strong
foundation in computer skills. Extensive training will be provided computer maintenance programs
that generate and track reports related to the housing and food programs. The HFS Operations
Assistant is responsible for data entry, file management and other clerical tasks. Accordingly, this
position requires a person with strong organization and typing skills. Graphic design capabilities are
also desired as marketing pieces and email templates are requested using Adobe Photoshop and

Holly the Husky School Mascot – Associated Students of University of Washington Bothell
(ASUWB)
As Holly the Husky, the chosen student will encourage community excitement and involvement at
campus and community events. This person will work with ASUWB to strengthen community

Summer Examination Proctor – Disability Resources for Students
Examination Proctors monitor students during test sessions to ensure a secure testing
environment by distributing and collecting test material to the student(s), ensuring the tests are
ready for pick-up by the instructors, clarifying professor's test instructions for students, regulating
allowance(s) for exams, and verifying that the student starts and finishes the exam at the original
time set by the professor. Proctors are also responsible for verifying student’s identification and
seating them appropriately, and reporting suspected irregularities such as cheating and breach of
student conduct to the professor and DRS staff.

Direct Investments Equity Intern – Russell Investments
This position will be responsible for providing portfolio management, analysis and implementation
support for all portfolios managed by the Direct Investments – Equity team, part of the Investment
Division, investing assets based on quantitatively driven equity strategies. An intern will support the
Portfolio Managers (PMs) and Portfolio Analysts (PAs) with many aspects of investment
management, portfolio implementation, portfolio analysis, investment process and reporting
functions. The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable knowledge in Finance,
Economics, Mathematics, or related major, be a junior or senior, and be able to work approximately
20 hours per week during the school term, with flexibility around breaks and exam period, and 40
hours per week during summer.

Student Intern – African Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific Northwest (ACCPNW)
Interns at the ACCPNW will assist with the day-to-day activities of the office as well as the planning
and execution of events that promote business and trade between Africa and the Pacific Northwest.
These events include trade forums, business workshops and luncheons, visits from African
dignitaries and seminars on African trade. Work usually consists of promoting and coordinating
events, communicating with other organizations and businesses in the Pacific Northwest that
promote or have ties to Africa, performing routine office duties and assisting the CEO. Interns must
have already completed two years at a college or university and have an interest in Africa. Positions
are available year round; however there is a minimum commitment of 10 weeks and a minimum of
10 hours a week.

Community Field Organizer Intern – Washington CAN!
Community Field Organizer Interns will work on community outreach and education on socioeconomic and racial justice issue. Duties include facilitation of hand-written/post-card campaigning,

develop public speaking, analytical, logistical, lobbying, and small donor fundraising experience.
Interns will gain great experience being involved with this political and electoral process for a

Revenue Auditor 1 – Department of Revenue
The Department of Revenue has three Revenue Auditor 1 positions open in the Bothell office, up to
