Wealth Management Internship – Fall 2011
There is currently an unpaid, for-credit only, internship position available with a high net-worth management team
within Merrill Lynch’s private client group in Boston. This is a part-time position and we offer flexible schedules.
The intern will be engaging in every aspect of the team’s operations and will be interacting with the financial advisors.
Primary duties include researching public and private companies and high net-worth individuals; gathering and analyzing
information regarding prospective clients; assisting the marketing manager with special projects; preparing on-going
independent research projects and other daily operations.
Undergraduate students only.
All majors are encouraged to apply and marketing or sales experience preferred.

Job Title: Accounting Intern

Position Overview:
We are looking for an intern to help our Accounting department to start September 1st, 2011 to December 31st, 2011
with the opportunity to extend throughout the school year. We are looking for at least 15 hrs a week. Must be available
Monday through Friday for at least 3 hrs a day. We’re seeking a current undergraduate business student who is
organized, responsible, and trustworthy. While this position will include administrative work, you will have the
opportunity to be exposed to the inner workings of a private firm. This is a great introduction to the business world for
those students who are interested in a small business work environment.
Position Description:







File
Organize Vendor Files
Organize and audit W-9 files –TIN Matching
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Assist with accounts payable process
Reconcile daily sales order (MerchantWare)
Scan and file documents as directed for Accounting


Assist with Human Resource ad hoc projects
Perform additional administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Position Requirements:








Current undergraduate working towards an accounting degree.
Competency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel to include formulas.
Computer and Internet savvy.
Strong organizational skills with a great attention to detail.
Team- oriented personality that can work with all levels of staff.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Trustworthy with handling sensitive information
QuickBooks experience Preferred

ACCOUNTANT- 20 TO 25 HOURS PER WEEK
