Email - You are applying for a job at a summer camp, community center, or sporting goods store. Write an
email to your potential employer telling why you’re a good candidate for the job. The email should be at least
8 sentences in Spanish. Include the following information:










a greeting
where you are from
activities you like to do
when, where & with whom you do each one
activities you know how to do
who you know who can help you learn new skills if you get the job
activities you are going to do soon
when, where & with whom you are going to do each one
what the weather is like for your favorite activities
don’t forget to say good-bye

Then follow the directions on the back of this page to submit your email online (as a blog post for our
purposes). You will also turn in this paper copy.
Hover over the “Advanced Spanish
1” tab. Scroll down and hover over
“Unit 3: El tiempo libre” then click
on the tab that appears “Adv I U3
email submission.”
Click to comment. It will say how
many comments have already been
left.
Add a comment, making sure that
when it asks for your name you put
your Spanish name and your period.
For example, Paco4. Then, type out
the email as you have written it
above using the alt codes (for
Windows) or the shortcuts (for
Mac or Windows) to add accents
and special characters as needed.
