Application/Connection 1.Place a small piece of clear tape over the dried nail polish. 2.Gently peel the nail polish/ tape from the leaf. 3.Place the tape with polish onto a clean microscope slide 4.Find an area where you see many stomata that has little dirt or finger prints. 5.Start with the 10X lens and work your way up to the 40x lens (only use fine adjustment knob at this point) 6.Draw and label a stomata and guard cells 7.Answer the following question Exit 1.Explain why stomata are important in photosynthesis and cellular respiration in a plant?
