7 & under, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 & over.
Entry Deadline: 6pm, Monday October 5th, 2015
Location:
Foothills Pool, Calgary, AB
(Please note no glass containers of any kind are allowed on deck
and Foothills Pool is a NUTS free zone)
Facility:
25 meter, 6 lane pool.
Eligibility:
Swimmers are eligible to swim in Junior Circuit meets provided:
 They are currently a registered competitive swimmer with a
year round program designated to the Southern Region of
Swim Alberta.
 That as of September 1, 2015, Junior Circuit meets are novice
developmental level meets. MQT qualifying will serve as the dequalifying time for Junior Circuit participation.
 Swimmers who are registered as non-competitive can enter
and compete in ONE sanctioned competition per swim season.
If they wish to enter any additional competitions they must be
upgraded by the registrar, an invoice created, and paid prior
to them swimming at the meet. If a swimmer competes a
second (or more times) without being upgraded then the club
is invoiced $100.00 per swimmer per meet.
 In the spirit of Junior Circuit Meets, please send novice
swimmers.
Entries:
Swimmers are limited to a maximum of four (4) individual
swims. 9 & under swimmers may enter in the 10 & Over session.
Meet management reserves the right to limit individual swims to
3 events pending appropriate session time outs. Entries are to
be submitted using Hytek through Swimming Canada. 200 and
400 freestyle events can be run at the home club as a Time Trial
the week of the Junior Circuit Meet. 200 & 400m Results are to
be submitted to NCSA Meet Manager at the start of the meet.
Entry Fees:
Entry fees will be $25.00 per participant of the meet. Please
make cheque payable to Nose Creek Swim Association and it
may be submitted with entries or delivered to the meet
manager before the meet starts.
Entry Times:
Entry times are required for all entries to facilitate timing of the
meet by the meet manager as well as a de-qualifying check.
Entries with NO TIMES (NT) will not be accepted. Coaches are to
estimate a time for a swimmer.
Seeding:
All events will be senior seeded in fastest to slowest order.
Format:
Events will be swum Open Mixed Gender.
Scratches:
To avoid being charged the Meet Entry Fee, scratches must be
received by 6 pm Monday, October 13th, 2015. For scratches
on the day of the meet, a scratch sheet, complete with name of
club, the name of the swimmer and the event numbers, must be
handed to the Clerk of Course no later than 30 minutes before
the start of the meet.
 Please note that scratches for session 2 are to be received 30
minutes before start of session 1
Ribbons:
Ribbons will be awarded for all best times and great swim.
Scoring:
There will be no scoring at Junior Swim Circuit Meets.
Relays Events:
Relay events will be swum time permitting and may be limited
to a maximum of two heats per relay event.
Session /Event Changes:
Meet Management reserves the right to alter, revise, limit
enrollment, or otherwise modify the meet program to allow for
maximum swims in the time allotted. If either session looks like
it will time out too fast, meet management may combine the
two sessions. Every effort will be made to ensure that all entry
swims are completed.
Deck Entries:
Deck entries will be permitted under the following
circumstances:
 No new heats will be created to accommodate a deck entry.
 Swimmers will not be allowed to exceed the maximum
number of individual swims.
 Swimmers already entered in the meet will not be charged
anything extra for a deck entry.
 Swimmers not already entered in the meet can be deck
entered under the first two conditions and will be charged at
a rate of $10 per swim.
Officials:
Visiting clubs are encouraged to volunteer to officiate. Calgary
and area clubs sending swimmers will be expected to send
