Each student is given 100 points for attendance. Students retain attendance points by attending class regularly. Students are allowed one unexcused absence. The following is the grading distribution: A = 90 to 100% = 450-500 total points B = 80 to 89% = 400-449 total points C = 70 to 79% = 350-399 total points D = 60 to 69% = 300-349 total points F = less than 300 total points VI. The plus/minus system will be used Extra Credit Opportunities Students will be given opportunities to earn additional credit toward the total 500-points 1 used for determining grades.
