Executive Summary
Most people could only dream and wish for a toilet that does everything for them.
However, that wish is now true. The new and spectacular iToilet not only comes in your
favorite colors, but also is unlike any toilet you’ve ever seen before. Now people can
listen to music in the bathroom, charge their phone, and can control it all from their
phones; even the temperature of the seat. We plan to make our product affordable to
the public with our partnership with Apple. With Apple by our side, not only will we have
endless business connections, but customers will be even more drawn to our amazing
and unique product. Apple will sell our product in their stores. There will also be a
display in every Apple store to allow customers to see the quality and brilliance of our
product. Apple also has outstanding credibility which we will also inherit along with the
partnership. Our product is predicted to earn millions and they don’t cost much to
manufacture. An efficient way for testing and trials for our iToilet will be to take iPhones
people returned/are broken, and test them with our toilets. We can refurbish the phones
to sync with the toilets and test our product that way. After we’re finished we can either
do a package deal and sell the phones with the toilets, or sell each separately. Not only
will we be able to ensure that our toilets work, but we can also fix our phones and
ensure they work before just selling them back to the public.The phone and toilet will be
able to connect through a USB connecter and the speakers will be towards the back.
We’re planning on changing this feature to a bluetooth connection considering
everything in the future is wireless, but until then the USB compartment works great.
Our mission is to provide our customers with an experience that’s so wonderfully unique
and new that they couldn’t even imagine a product any better than ours especially for
our price. We’re striving to make the iToilet a world-wide name and product. More of our
goals include to have a vast amount of customers who signed up to get the toilet early
and pre-pay for it; just like they would do for a new iphone release. We decided to not
produce as many products until we can get an overall satisfaction rate from real
customers and not just feedback from trials we have performed. Our main goal is to
knock every other toilet company out of the market and secure a number one spot in
this industry. It will be a long and tough journey, but we know we can make it happen
with all of our creative skill sets, and the help from Apple. Our management team will
include Ally Atkeson, Daisy Joseph, Irina Leonchik, Stefani Azar, and Apple and their
higher-up employees. Apple will take care of most of the expenses, marketing,
production/manufacturing, and hiring while us four girls oversee how everything works
and ensure it’s coming along smoothly and efficiently. Wi lack of experience and
connections in this business, we trust Apple will provide us with the best technology and
employees available and can make the iToilet a possibility for all. No one ever again will
dread waking up in the morning knowing that a cold seat awaits them. No one will ever
have their phone die in the bathroom again. Problems will vanish with our product and
will make the bathroom a more loved and exciting environment. After all, on average,
humans spend a year and a half in the restroom in a lifetime. Might as well make your
time fun and worthwhile. With the expansion of our customers, we also plan to add on
more advantages to the toilet to make it new and improved. We also plan to release
new models every so often much like with what happens with the iPhones and iPads.

● Describe the goods and services your business will provide.
Our business will provide a product called an iToilet which is capable of more than an
average toilet is capable of. It will contain all the functions of an average toilet but there
will be some more advantages to the iToilet. The iToliet will contain a usb drive which
will be able to connect your cell phone to the toilet. It will charge your phone as well as
be able to play your music through the toilet speakers. Not only does the iToliet connect
to a cell phone but it also is able to heat the up the toilet seat.
● What need does the product meet for customers?
Since an average person spends 1.5 years a lifetime in the bathroom, might as well
make it the best time you can. The iToliet lets people go to the bathroom but also gives
their customers more options. It warms up the seat which is for the customers
convenience and gives them a source of being able to connect their phones and charge
them. People carry their phones everywhere so why not be able to use it in the
bathroom? The iToliet exceeds the consumers expectations and is very convenient for
its features and price.
● What is unique about the product?
The iToliet is unique because it has features that an average toilet would not. It is
produced to bring more pleasure for the consumer while going to the bathroom,
because we all spend our time there. It is capable of charging a phone and playing
music through the speakers in the iToliet. It has an USB drive which is how the
customers are able to connect their phone to the toilet. The toilet seat itself heats up, so
no more cold bathroom experiences. Also, you may download an app that is able to
control the bathroom, so you may flush from anywhere.
● Barriers to entry and strategies to overcome barriers Market Analysis
There will be many barriers putting this product together but we are going to hire and
get opinions from many engineers including the Apple company. This will allow us to get
the best and most effective product out there. Making the iToliet function right
technologically will also be difficult but we are going to produce one and experiment to
make sure it is what we want and are willing to produce.
● Provide research indicating market size and potential growth
The market size for our product could be everyone because every person uses a toilet
no matter how convenient it is or not. If our product becomes very successful then we
would be thinking about expanding our product and maybe adding on more features if
the consumers were willing able to purchase them.
● Target Market - describe your customers
Our target market is mostly young adult aged people, as they are the most open to new
technological ideas. Also anyone who buying or building a new home or anyone who is
willing to buy our toilet.
Marketing
❖ How will you reach your customers and your sales goals?
Since this is a new product, we will be test marketing. We want to make our product
known all across the world and in order to do so partnering with Apple would be our
best shot in getting our product out on the market. We will start our product at a low
price which will draw consumers to the product. We eventually want to higher the price
as demand increases yet keep it at a price that most people could afford. We want to
sell as many iToilets as possible, and use the money earned to make improvements on
the product as well as increase the amount of advertisements that we are planning to
have.

In order to advertise our product, we will collaborate with Apple for them to include an
advertisement on their website that has information all about the iToilet. This would be
our most effective way of advertising because people can buy the toilet directly from the
Apple website. Another way we will advertise our product is through commercials on
television. We would start off by putting the advertisements in public channels, and then
work our way into other popular channels such as entertainment, sports channels, etc.
The last way we would advertise is by flyer. By spreading flyers and handing them out
to people, we will get our product spread directly from person to person. Eventually
everybody will know about our product, which is then the time we will increase our
prices, since the demand of the product is increasing as well. Again, we will use the
funds to create a better product, as well as more advertisements across the world.

The iToilet will provide a convenient and useful way for people to charge their phone
and enjoy iTunes music at the same time. We want to ensure that our customers have
the best experience with our product. We will offer our product in stores a 24 hour online
ordering system as well. If they aren’t satisfied with the product we will give them a full
refund with no hassle. We will also offer our services of installing the product in the
consumers home if they have not already scheduled for someone to come in to install it
in advance. We will have a 1 warranty that mirrors Apple’s warranty with their products
as well.
❖ Price
Our product will cost $299.99 to start. Once demand increases we will raise the price to
$349.99. We figured if people show interest in the product, they will most likely spend
more in order to have it. However, if the demand doesn’t increase for our product after 6
months, we will cut down the price to $249.99. If the product still doesn’t have an
increase in demand at this point, our back up plan is to sell 100% of our company to
Apple since they have more resources to advertise and improve the product. However,
we will request a $20.00 royalty from every iToilet that is sold.
❖ Promotion(s)
Since our product is newly launching into the world of technology, especially with one of
the most popular technological producers, we will give a $25.00 discount to those who
complete a customer service survey on Apple’s website after they purchase the product.
They will then be able to redeem their $25.00 in cash or gift card back in any apple
store once they have completed the survey and have printed out the unique, one-use
ticket that proves they have taken the survey.
