In groups of 3, you will be practicing the Lone Divider Method.
Within each group, you’ll choose the divider by picking a random number from a hat. Write your names
below in the role you’ll be filling.
Lone Divider: _____________________________
Chooser: ________________________________
Chooser: ________________________________
Once the Divider has divided the pieces of Cake/Pie/Cookies, fill out the attached bid sheet (1 per
person). Remember this is an INDIVIDUAL decision.
Now, open the bids and complete the table below:
Person
Piece 1
Piece 2
Piece 3
Bids
Once that has been done, identify who gets what pieces according to the bids. Remember, if there is
argument, the divider gets an ‘unwanted’ piece and then the remaining two parts get ‘combined’ and cut
via the divider-chooser method. Identify who chose what piece below:
________________ got Piece 1.
________________ got Piece 2.
________________ got Piece 3.
