We’re delighted that you’ve taken time out of your busy schedule to join us for what we hope will be

Born in the City of Cali, Colombia Mr. Cardenas demonstrated a keen sense of entrepreneurial spirit by
developing small organizations that met the needs of his potential customers. In 1986 at the age of 16
Diego created and co-founded ComSoft Ltda., a service oriented computer-consulting firm in the city of
Cali, Colombia.
In 1996, Diego Cardenas entered, participated and formed a partnership to start Stomp, Inc., a
manufacturer of computer software and accessories. Later on the CD Stomper from Stomp was acquired
by Avery Dennison www.avery.com
Currently Diego shares his passion for technology and writes for the biggest Spanish language
technology blogs such as tutecnologia.org and compuhombre.com . Diego is the principal consultant in
www.diegocardenas.com, a boutique consulting located in southern California which focuses on small
and midsized businesses and teaches them on how to make technology a competitive advantage.
Diego has won the Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2003 from the Minority MBA Magazine and The 2nd
Small Business from the ICESI university in Cali-Colombia he has been nominated to the Brillante awards.
In addition Diego has been a Titanium level powerseller on the eBay marketplace in the video game
category and has taught for the ABL (Academy of Business Leadership) in the USC campus.
Even with his demanding work schedule, Mr. Cardenas continues an active role in the Hispanic
community. Diego has been a member of the Orange County Chapter National Society of Hispanic MBAs

Born in the City of Cali, Colombia Mrs. Cardenas-Higuita has shown the keen ability to make things
happen for the firms and companies that she has represented. Since the early 2000’s Lida has worked
some of the largest fortune 500 companies such as Colgate Palmolive, Gillette, BSN Medical in many
support roles. Her fields of expertise have ranged from customer service to product and project
management.
While at BSN Medical (A US/German Medical Device Company), Lida was in charge of multiple brands and
business units for the Andean region of South America. She worked closely with her marketing teams to
set forth the right product, positioning, placement and pricing for each one of her business lines in each
of the countries that they were distributed in. She successfully launched more than 10 brands and its
portfolio to the Latin America market with full P/L responsibility for each launch.
Currently Lida is part owner in multiple ventures with her husband Diego Cardenas, these ventures range
from technology social media blog to technology consulting. She currently resides in Southern California
with her daughter and husband. Lida holds a BS degree in Chemical engineering and a MA in Marketing.

About
Martin Castillo is the General Manager and Managing Director for Hewlett-Packard in the,
Caribbean and Puerto Rico. Based in San Juan, Puerto Rico he supervises and manages all
sales operations, marketing, services and consultations in Caribbean which represents $500
million dollars for HP.
Prior to assuming his current role he was the General Manager in Puerto Rico and through his
leadership double digit increases in sales have been reported in three consecutive years having
mayor growth in the Latin American market.
Martin began his career with HP in 1994 as Sales Manager of the Government District for HP
Mexico a position which he held for five years. He was also the Director of corporate accounts
for HP Mexico where he developed sales strategies for the finance, telecommunications and
government resulting in a quota of $100 million. Before joining HP, Martin work for IBM
Mexico for a term of 5 years as a Marketing Investigation Consultant.
Martin has a Masters degree in International finance from the “Instituto Technologico de
Monterey” in Mexico and a bachelors degree in Technological Engineering & Business
Administration from IPN Mexico.

About
Nigel Cook is a prized member of the HP Distinguished Technologist group. He was the driving
force behind the conceptualization and development of HP Insight Dynamics for BladeSystem
Matrix (now known as HP Matrix Operating Environment), enabling enterprises to dynamically
adjust and provision IT resources on the fly. His work on this project earned him the HP CEO
Innovations Award in 2010.
The past 10 years of his HP tenure have been spent across the R&D lifecycle for management
software. Nigel is contributing to the DMTF Cloud Management Working Group and was
previously part of the DMTF Cloud Incubator, formulating technology submissions,
requirements and use cases for interoperability between an enterprise data center and
Infrastructure as a Service Clouds.
Nigel has co-authored a series of papers on utility and cloud computing, and currently has five

patent disclosures up for industry approval.
He spent time in the Office of Strategy and Technology, writing a Java/Web Services
framework for data center automation technique termed "model based automation." This
framework was used to validate self-adjusting services in a joint proof of concept project with
Oracle's Grid Control group.
Prior to joining HP, Nigel had a hand in establishing the U.S. office of CiTR, an Australian
software engineering company owned by the University of Queensland.
Nigel received a Bachelor Engineering degree from the University of Queensland, Australia,
and is currently pursuing a master's degree in bioinformatics at the University of Colorado.

customers in Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic. Worked together with my Solution
Architect to design Networking solutions that where business oriented technologically
advanced solutions comprised, but not limited to switching within the Core Data Center,
Access Layer as well as IPS, firewalls and other related products. Previously was the HP Sales
Specialist for the region. Designed various IT Transformation project which included facilities
