Job Description National Account Manager Position Summary Title Reports to Location Education Experience Supervisory National Sales Manager EVP of Sales, Promotional Products & Team Sports Bentonville, AR Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field required 5+ years Sales Management / Promotional Products Direct Reports The National Sales Manager reports to the EVP of Sales and helps design strategy, leads customer development and drives the sales execution for our Promotional Products Division. This includes sales forecasting, planning, and implementation of the sales plan throughout the sales force. The position also requires leadership in building customer relationships, motivation of sales force, and managing relationships between administration and sales. Additional responsibilities include developing strategic programs with the Top 40 Promotional Product accounts. Responsibilities Responsible for building Outdoor Cap sales and margin budgets in targeted channels of trade Deliver defined sales, inventory and gross profit goals Review and analyze daily sales results and compare actual v. projected results. Formulate plans to respond to the analyses Responsible for opening new accounts and growing existing accounts by communicating Outdoor Cap’s value proposition Oversee the development and training of Sales Reps and Regional Sales Managers Collaborate with sales reps in the field for feedback and action plans Leads sales force to ensure sales metrics are being met Collaborate with marketing to develop the tools needed to support the sales initiatives Analyze and understand industry market trends, competition, products, and pricing that may impact sales efforts and communicate this information to appropriate parties within the organization Collaborates with product development team to bring insights from the field and customers to develop annual product line that meets market demand Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, independent reps and internal staff Along with Marketing team, manage all aspects of tradeshow execution, including selection, logistics, scheduling customer meetings and staffing Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets and obtain new customers that fall in-line with the company’s strategic plan Understands and articulates customer needs and opportunities in order to develop sales, product, and program plans that are clear in direction and purpose Communicates regularly and effectively with senior leadership Constantly reviews go to market strategy and proposes changes as deemed necessary 1 Outdoor Cap | 1201 Melissa Drive | Bentonville, AR 72712 Demonstrates a robust knowledge of Outdoor Cap’s brands, products and systems Serves the Company’s Mission-Vision-Values, Purpose and Founder’s Pillars Desired Skills 2 Track record of success working with a broad range of customers from independent operators to top national accounts Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills Ability to develop strong customer relationships leading to long term success for both companies Demonstrate ability to develop and execute Sales strategies Previous sales experience working with Independent Rep agencies Results oriented with well-developed sense of drive Strong management skills leading teams Up to 50% Travel Outdoor Cap | 1201 Melissa Drive | Bentonville, AR 72712
