7TH GRADE SCIENCE PACING GUIDE The following pacing guide has been designed as a guide for assessments. Each semester will have an assessment that will cover the material designated in the following pacing guide. Unit 1 – SAFETY AND SCIENCE PROCESSING SKILLS Science processes and safety has been divided up into focus skills for each of the quarters. These skills will be the skills that are assessed each quarter. Previous quarter skills can be assessed but the focus skills will be the majority of the science process questions on each exam. Teachers may teach any of the scientific process skills any time during each quarter and are encouraged to teach these skills repeatedly throughout the year.
