Working Experience
I worked as a Sales Executive for Craft Trading Co., Whole sale & Retail dealers in all kinds of Electronic & Electrical
Home Appliances since 2009 till 2012. Duties as follows,
 Identifying and developing new business through contacts and follow-up calls.
 Cold-calling in order to create interest in products and services and generate new business.
 Identifying opportunities for further sales and new areas for development through detailed research of the
specific industry or Market.
 Marketing and promoting a portfolio of products.
 Meeting sales targets set by managers and contributing to team targets.
 Networking with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products.
 Providing support to customers, often on a helpline, offering clear advice and solutions wherever possible.
 Managing my own diary in order to organize and prioritize daily and weekly goals.
 Take the orders & dispatch the orders according to the dealer’s requirements.
 Carefully check the products, quantity, and price before dispatch & issue an invoice.
 Collect the payments at regular intervals.

I was employed as a Showroom & Service Center Cashier at Natco W.L.L. (Nehmeh Enterprise) in Doha on a contract
period of two years. Sole distributor, whole sale & retail dealers in Makita power tools, construction, Garage equipment,
Auto paint product & radiators. Key Duties were as follows. (2007-2009).
 Issuing invoices for both Cash & Credit Customers. (Direct, Mobile Unit, Other Show Room Customers, Field
Service Etc.)
 Issuing invoices for Credit Customers within their Credit Limits.
 Printing out daily sales summary reports to tally the invoices issued to both Cash & Credit Customers.
 Maintaining Cash float without an excess or shortage.
 Maintaining Petty cash expenses in the Company.
 Billing through Accpac, Epos, Dos, Pos Systems.

Store keeping related works in the system.
Receive stock from where house & enter them into the system.
Prepare stock transfer note generated by system for other showroom & sales team members.
Stock taking every trice a month with Finance & IT department.
Printing out stock variance reports every month end to check the accuracy of physical stock generated by system.
Maintain stock availability at all times.
Report unavailability of stock to where house.
Undertake cheques from customers by giving a cheque receipt & sent it to head office for Clearance, I will be
informed after two three days by Finance Dept through an Official Memo when the Cheque is cleared & issue
the invoices to the respective customers accordingly Etc.
I worked as a Computer Operator during the working period promoted me as Assistant Manager for Beta Travels
Colombo-08. (2005-2007) Duties were,
 Recruiting Manpower according to the foreign Agents Requirements.
 Preparing & submitting documents to the relevant Embassies in order to get the Visa Stamped.
 Preparing & Submitting documents to get insured those going abroad & other related SLBFE works.
 Booking Flight Tickets for those recruited for employment in abroad.
 Maintaining relevant records of the employees those sent abroad.
I worked as a Restaurant Cashier at Colombo Swimming Club Kollupitiya on a contract period of one year. (20042005), Duties were,
 Issuing invoice for both kitchen orders take (KOT) & bar order take (BOT).
 Buffet counting
 Inform the members who are in the restaurant & bar premises to settle his or her outstanding balance at the
Accounts Dept if they reach their credit limit & ask them to use coupon vouchers to have club facilities.
 Issuing invoices within their credit limits.
 Issuing invoices for non members by coupon vouchers.
 Work in the reception in the absence of receptionist.
 Billing through Australian Till System.
 Prepare stock utilize report every month.
I was employed as a Store Keeper at Development Interplan (Ceylon) Ltd at Nawam Mawatha, Slave Island, and Duties
were, (2001-2003).
 General control over all activities in all Store Department
 Safe keeping both as to quality and quantity of stock materials
 Timely maintain proper records generated by system & stock variance report of all locations
 Initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular stores items whenever the stock level of
any item of store approaches the minimum limit fixed in respect thereof.
 Initiate action for stoppage of further purchasing when the stock level approaches the maximum limit.
 Check and receive purchased materials forwarded by the receiving department and to arrange for the storage in
appropriate places.
 Reserve a particular material for a specific job when so required.
 Issue materials only in required quantities against authorized requisition notes/material lists.
 Check the system balances, with the actual physical stock at frequent intervals by way of internal control over
wrong issues, discrepancies, etc.
