Job title:
Applications Systems Analyst
Purpose of the position
Responsible for providing a wide range of computer application support, including
responding to user’s questions, problem analysis and resolution, maintenance,
enhancements, documentation, and training.
Key responsibilities & duties








Conduct user training sessions and assists in development of training
curriculum.
Develop advanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities related to
primary assigned systems and applications.
Develop IS operating procedures for primary assigned systems and
applications.
Assist in process and workflow analysis as needed to improve system
utilization and user productivity.
Keep all Departmental Managers and Supervisors informed as to new or
revised programs and procedures.
Expand technical expertise in secondary assigned systems and applications.
Participate in system selection activities and coordinates with vendors.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
Skills and qualification




Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management,
or other analytical field.
1-3 years experience in computer system development, installation or support
preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication
Ability to analyze situations and identify pertinent problems/issues; collect
relevant information.
