Symposium on Science and Technology
2008 was held in Waseda University for
three days with a large number of
esteemed participants from the Japanese
Universities under the umbrella of JapanEgypt Science and Technology Year 2008
(JESTY08).
This symposium brought together Egyptian
Doctoral candidate students and Egyptian
Post Doctoral fellow researchers and their
Japanese professors in Japan for
exchanging scientific experiences.
EJISST2008 Fruitful Harvest
• This symposium was a good platform for

increasing scientific cooperation between
Japan and Egypt.
More than 200 papers were presented for
oral presentation during the period of
three days.
The symposium covered many fields of
science that are of common interest for
Egyptian and Japanese scientists.
