 Every year thousands of poverty fleeing, are trying to get to
Europe, to create a better future for themselves and their family.
 In 2011 about. 3,800 persons applied for asylum in Denmark,
3,400 cases were completed and about. 33% were granted
asylum
 In 2011 the largest groups of asylum seekers were from
Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Serbia and Russia.
