The Cougar Way
we pride ourselves on intellectual honesty
cheating is not The Cougar Way
There is a difference
between cheating and collaboration:
your integrity hangs in the balance
Cheating
Collaboration
-copying on a test
-copying homework
-cheat sheets
-pictures of information on
phone used on a test
-one person does all the
work and the group gets a
grade
-giving and receiving
answers on a test
-your teacher will provide
clear expectations on
what is independent work
and what is collaborative
vs.
-if you are unsure, ask
your teacher
There is a difference!
