JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Filtration Specialist Reports To: Sales Manager FLSA Status: Exempt Department: Sales Division: Northern Location: Aston DESCRIPTION: - The Filtration Specialist is tasked with growing sales and market share of filtration product within the assigned geographic territory. Personally identifies contacts, and secures new business / accounts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES POSSESS: The skills and knowledge that enable them to identify customer needs, offer solutions that meet these needs, and close orders for the sale of equipment and service that produce profitable sales revenue. COLLABORATE: Work with Tate Account Managers and Filtration product manufacturers to drive profitable sales through joint and independent sales calls and the full implementation of the 4-Box sales model. BUDGET: The Filtration Specialist role will participate in the development of their annual sales budget. The expectation is that the successful candidate will meet or exceed this sales budget through a combination of sales activities including, cold calling, telemarketing, tech/marketing leads, social media strategies, joint and individual on-site sales calls and relationship building activities. REPORT: Utilizing Tate’s CRM system, report sales and market information including but not limited to quotation activity, won/lost data, opportunity pipeline, sales forecasts, competitor analysis and market share. EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS A four year degree in engineering or business development from an accredited university is preferred. Expert communication skills required Empathetic, with the capacity to perceive the feelings and attitudes of others is essential Ability to teach and lead others is necessary Technical knowledge of mechanical products is desirable. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn is required.
