Handwriting Camps
The WRITE Start! (Ages 4-5)

8 Sessions - July 14-17 & July 21-24 (not meeting on Fridays) 8:30-10:00 AM
This program is geared towards pre-writing skills for children who are entering Pre-K or Kindergarten level. A variety of multisensory
activities will be used to facilitate fine motor skills required for pencil use and visual perception motor skills for formation of shapes,
letters and numbers.
PREREQUISITIES: Your writer must be able to do the following:



Sit at table and attend to a task
Identify all capital letters of the alphabet
Be able to participate in age appropriate gross and fine motor classes
All WRITE! (Ages 6-7)

All WRITE is a fun camp which include games, music, crafts and multisensory activities to improve pencil grip, letter formation, line
placement and sentence skills. The class will reinforce basic writing components including grasp, dexterity, hand strength, and
postural control to ensure the foundations necessary to be a successful writer are in place. Learners will be asked to review basic
capital letter formation and will be introduced to lower case letter formation. Emphasis will be placed on spacing, placement,
formation and efficiency when writing to enhance the learner’s experience. We will be using the award winning Handwriting
Without Tears Curriculum.
PREREQUISITIES: Your writer must be able to do the following:


Identify all capital and lowercase letters
Write Capitol letters (legibility is not a prerequisite)

Attend a tabletop activity/demonstrate substantial attention
Sensory Sensation’s Camp (Ages 5-8)

5 Sessions - June 9-13 9:00 – 11:00
Our Sensory Motor camp will include music, games, and gross/fine motor activities designed to improve sensory motor skills.
Children will explore and learn how to have fun with their senses-touch, movement, vision, hearing, taste and smelling.
Sports Neurofitness Camp (Ages 8 – 12)
$299.00
5 Sessions – June 23-27 9:00 – 11:00
Designed to help the athlete who wants to gain the competitive edge by increasing their focus, decreasing anxiety and improving
their timing and coordination. Those involved will be able to train with the Interactive Metronome program that has been used by
many professional athletes and college teams. “Baseball is 90% mental, the other 10% is physical” - Yogi Berri. How have you been
training that 90%?
All Handwriting camps require screening on June 20 th - 8:00 – 12:00
A non-refundable $150.00 deposit is due at screening.
All Camps have a minimum for camp is 4 and a maximum of 6
You can guarantee a spot by reserving your child a spot in advance, by making the non-refundable $150.00 deposit.
If minimum is not made, your entire deposit will be refunded.
