Prior to this we do not have staff available to supervise pupils on the premises as they are preparing the classrooms for the morning lessons. If there is an exceptional circumstance where your child does need to be dropped off earlier than 8.40am, this can be accommodated by prior agreement. Thank you for your cooperation. SCHOOL CROSSINGS – Save our Lollipop Ladies! A letter has been sent out this week regarding the council’s plans to remove ALL school crossing patrols. We are a small school but PLEASE don’t allow this to happen. We NEED our lollipop ladies to keep our children safe! Please get as many people as you can to write your objections to make our voice heard. Letters can be brought into to school and given to Mrs Wilson who will send them to the council in time for the January 15th deadline. SCHOOL CALENDARS The St Matthew’s school calendar is on sale at the school office. The cost is £5.00. The calendar contains a picture of the children in their relative month of birth, as well as the academic calendar including all inset days. All of the proceeds from the calendar go straight back to provide resources for the children. Please support us. CHRISTMAS DINNER We will be having our Christmas dinner on Tuesday 16th December.
