CATALOG COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Students in this course will develop and demonstrate the skills necessary for supervisory roles in various
settings. Topics include, but are not limited to, challenges faced by today’s supervisors, planning and
organizing, leading and motivating employees, staffing effectively, evaluating employee performance, and
strategies for improving employee performance and leadership skills.
