COURSE DESCRIPTION
7th Grade Technology is a course that is designed to give our students technological tools
needed in the 21st Century. These tools include a general knowledge of working with
computers, typing skills, online communication, and using technology creatively.
Nearly ALL communications and assignments will be given online.
REQUIRED MATERIALS
Students are required to have writing utensils and headphones for this class.
GRADES & SCORING
Every course assignment will have a total amount of points possible to earn, of which the
student will earn some percentage. It is possible to earn over 100% on some assignments,
however, the course average can be no more than 100%.
QUIZZES and TESTS
Tests will be preannounced and minimal review for those tests will occur during class.
Quizzes may or may not be preannounced. They will be small in the scope of material
that they cover.
PAPERS & PROJECTS
There will be several small papers assigned during this course. Students may work on
these assignments during school and at home if they choose. ALL assignments will be
turned in digitally.

Grading Policy
Any paper, project, or assignment that is late without reasonable excuse will lose a full
letter grade for every day that it is late.
