My name is Don Gillan
 Teacher of 22 years in the public schools.
 Principal for 10 years in four schools
 Taught religion classes for 12 years
 I have either taught, viewed, and/or evaluated at all
grade levels, k-12 during that time.

and future teacher, and help you better
understand, appreciate, and enjoy the role
social studies plays and how it impacts boys
and girls in grades K-8, ages 5-15.

Student will create a computer generated concept
map of the topic and the key concepts in different
subject areas that will be developed in this unit.
Chance to show your technology skills.
Unit may be designed for any grade level, K – 8.
It will include all five social studies areas and two
other subject areas.
