WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
The PMP / CAPM Exam Prep Workshop is a 40 hour class designed to prepare candidates to sit for and pass
the PMP or CAPM certification exams. Experienced instructors holding the PMP certification guide participants
through the material from the PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) 5th Edition. The
workshop is intended to familiarize participants with the PMBOK model; it is not intended to be an introduction
to project management. Rather, the goal is to prepare students to pass the PMP / CAPM certification exams.
The workshop is a service provided by the PMI-San Diego chapter to benefit prospective PMP holders.
WORKSHOP DATES
Classes held on Saturdays 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM beginning on March 5th, 2016 and ending on April 2nd, 2016.
No lunch will be served during the class. Registration accepted with payment only. Registration starts January
8th, 2016 and closes March 4th, 2016 or when sold out at 20 students.

WORKSHOP MATERIALS:
All students will receive: a Velociteach student workbook, Velociteach PMP Exam Prep textbook, and access
to InSite, an online community to take online tests, e-learning classes and other helpful links for students. In
addition a set of Flash Cards and a Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Fifth Edition will be
provided.
WORKSHOP FEE
Registration is $850.00 for PMI Members and $1020 for non-Members. Fee must accompany registration. No

WORKSHOP CREDIT
Students who satisfy workshop completion requirements receive a "Certificate of Completion," attesting to the
fact that they have completed 40 hours of project management training. This satisfies the PMI training
requirement (minimum of 35 hours) needed to sit for the PMP or CAPM exam. To obtain a certificate of
completion for this workshop, students must attend a minimum of 35 class hours, participate in all class
activities and complete all instruction/material evaluation forms.
