This is done by way of a curriculum that consists of two academic courses (a 3cr. seminar taken during the fall of their sophomore year; and a capstone course taken during their senior spring semester); monthly in-service seminars/workshops; educational retreats; and committees that address specific program needs. The program seeks to challenge conventional understanding of leadership and power dynamics; to facilitate learning between and among program members; and to encourage positive social change by way of those mechanisms.
