Gordon-CenSSIS, the Bernard M. Gordon Center for Subsurface Sensing and Imaging
Systems and NE-LSAMP, the Northeast Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation will be conducting the Gordon-CenSSIS/NE-LSAMP 2007 REU Program from Monday,
June 4, 2007 through Friday, August 10, 2007. The purpose of the NE-LSAMP program is to increase the participation of under-represented students in Science,
Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) undergraduate research and the
Gordon-CenSSIS/NE-LSAMP REU Program is specifically targeting under-represented students to participate in CenSSIS research. Student Housing will be provided for those who need it. You must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident in order to participate in the program. Please see the Gordon-CenSSIS/NE-LSAMP 2007 REU

To apply to the Gordon-CenSSIS/NE-LSAMP REU Program, we must receive the following information by Friday, March 23, 2007:

A completed application form (Page 2 of this document).
A copy of your resume.
A copy of your most recent transcript.
Two (2) letters of recommendation (from people who are familiar with your abilities, interests and motivation towards research).
A one-page write-up indicating which CenSSIS Project you would be interested in working on and a description of how this project fits your background and interests.
You may indicate your interest in more than one project.
