I: The atomic bomb relates to the theme because it’s done all of the three R’s above.

A: The creation of the atomic bomb created a whole new weapon in the chemical warfare field of technology

B: Its creators were even stunned on how revolutionary the atomic bomb is. a: “I am become death, the destroyer of the worlds.” (Robert Oppenheimer) b: This means that Robert Oppenheimer is afraid of what he had created.

C: The Japanese surrendered after the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings.

II: The initial creation of the bomb revolutionized chemical warfare.

A: The amount of destruction that it can bring to a group of people is beyond devastating

B: The mere facts of how much damage it can do is exponentially better than any other explosive a: A modern thermonuclear weapon weighing little more than 2,400 pounds is the equivalent force of 1.2 million tons of TNT. b: This means that the atomic bomb is by far the most deadly bomb ever built.

III: The reaction to the dropping of the atomic bomb caused a big reaction across the world.

A: The dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki ended World War 2. a: After the bombings, Emperor Hirohito made the decision to accept the Allies terms of surrender.

B: Fear after the dropping of the atomic bomb caused a controversy across the world. peace. a: During the controversy, the term “atomic diplomacy” was created b: this means that the atomic bomb could be used for diplomacy and perhaps

A: Most countries started looking into nuclear technology and trying to make their own atomic bombs after the War. a: There are 7,982 U.S. atomic bombs deployed at this moment

B: This caused another war out of fear a: The Cold War and the fear of the atomic bomb ended once the Soviet government collapsed in 1991 b: This means people across the world were always fearing another atomic bombing on humans

V: Therefore, because of what the atomic bomb has caused, I believe its safe to say that it revolutionized technology, reformed the war, and created a whole new kind of fear throughout the world. This also led up to many other events including the Cold War between the Soviet

Union and the U.S.
