- mastering grammar and expanding vocabulary related to the topics provided,
- developing language skills: reading and listening comprehension, speaking, translating,
- practising describing procedures and trends, analysing and commenting on numerical data, describing various economic phenomena and business operations,
- drawing students’ attention to the register and style characteristic of business language, learning to understand and use it fluently
Student in the area of knowledge: defines specialist language, enumerates applications of language skills in speaking and in writing (concerning economic and business English); skills: converses with ease using specialist language, utilizes fluent, free and accurate economic or business register for various types of verbal communication at the proficiency level
