Anaadyanta
•
Anaadyanta, the annual techno-cultural festival of NMIT, Bangalore started it’s humble beginning
in 2003 and went national in 2013 with over 80+ colleges participating and over 15,000 people.
•
Anaadyanta has had various themes over the years, trending from World’s End to Unity in
Diversity.
•
Starting in 2003 with just 3 colleges, it has grown to a college festival with over 100+ college
participating, making it one of the few privileged private colleges in India to have an event of this
magnitude.
•
Brands like Coca Cola, Quantech Origins, Levi’s, Spykar Jeans, RMC, Zuari Cements, etc. have been
associated with the festival.
•
The College was the only college in Karnataka to have an international band, Higher on Maiden
(U.K), the official tribute band to Iron Maiden, to play in Anaadyanta 2014.
Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology
•
Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), Bangalore is a part of the Nitte Education Trust based in Nitte,
Mangalore, which is a owner of Nitte University, Mangalore.
•
NMIT is one of the most reputed Technical Colleges in Bangalore, ranking one of the the top 10 institutions in
Karnataka.
•
It has over 5000+ students in Engineering and over 1000+ students in it’s Degree, MBA and MCA sections.
•
It is one of the 50 colleges in India to receive the World Bank fund for improvement of Technical education
under the tag TEQIP.
•
NMIT is the only college in Karnataka to have it’s own satellite tracking station (NASTRAC) on campus.
•
It is associated with foreign universities such as Purdue, MIT, etc. over various cross technical projects.

NMIT has an association with ISRO, India’s answer to Space Exploration, and has launched multiple Pico –
satellites, under the guidance of ISRO.

NMIT also has a strong association with the DRDO, having multiple on going projects in the fields of traffic
management and artificial intelligence.

Anaadyanta 2015, will be held in the month of March 2015.
•
Anaadyanta 2015, is all about celebrating India and Indians. As the theme, we have selected Celebrating
India, as India is one of the growing super powers in various fields of science and technology with one of the
most power human resource.
•
We selected Celebrating India because Indian culture, as per study, is one of the oldest, the most beautiful,
most organized and colourful cultures in the world.
•
As youth, it is our responsibility to be the change. In this regard, we are incorporating the national-wide
campaigns of Make in India and Swachh Bharat in our college festival by organizing various cleanup drives
and endorsing the makes of Indian products and people.
•
Anaadyanta 2015 will see participation from prominent personalities from the Entertainment, Sports and
Science sectors.
VISION
•
This year our vision is to further our achievements from last year.
•
We wish to increase our visibility to a larger crowd, to a wider spectrum of students and companies.
•
We wish to conduct movie promotion events, conduct interaction of celebrities with students and faculty, give
the students an experience to cherish for years to come.
•
We’re expecting an impressive participation in our flagship events like Choreo Night, Ground Zero (Battle of
the Bands) and our most crowd pleasing event, Street Dance event, Street X based on their success at
Anaadyanta X 2014.
•
We wish to encourage more participation by arranging for eye-catching prizes so that not just our students but
participants from all colleges look forward to coming back to Anaadyanta 2016.
