Branding Statements
Recognizing that the College of Liberal Arts can't always offer the highest salaries at
the University, but still want to attract the best candidates, we began adding
Branding Statements to the General Position Notes of all job postings in spring
2007. It's a way to "sell" your position in order to get the best applicants to apply.
Attributes of Branding Statements (or reasons why people select the jobs they do):
Quality of life
Salary
Cost of living
Sense of mission/purpose
Culture of work environment
Job stability
Sports
Tuition assistance
Size of school
Research and reputation
Location
Benefits
