Preparatory Tasks
Obtain the channel html and image from https://svn.ecdf.ed.ac.uk/repo/is/apps/software/path/trunk/channel
Follow the procedure on the wiki to copy both of these files to the MyEd servers at /web_files/launchers:


Now log in to Test MyEd as an administrator and create a new web proxy portlet using the portlet manager in the
new version of uPortal. The channel configuration details are in the next section.

Post channel creation tasks
At this point you hand over to someone in Service Management who will add the channel to the relevant layout
fragments. Paul Johnson has indicated that he can do this one for us.
The tasks to perform are:


Check the channel workflow is set to published.
Go to fragment administration, swap in as Student_SCE fragment owner, then add the channel to the
Studies tab.
