Before you travel When you are ready to book your travel to Edinburgh, there are some things you need to remember. Check if you are required to show a tuberculosis screening certificate Tuition fees Make arrangements for the payment of your tuition fees Check your offer letter to see whether there are any additional costs associated with your programme University student card Apply for and collect your student card Student email & computing Activate your University e-mail account Make sure that you routinely access this e-mail account as the University will use this to contact you throughout your time of study Practicalities Register with the police (if required) Register with a doctor Make sure you have photocopied your passport Open a UK bank account Buy personal and travel insurance Take the TEAM test (if applicable) Bring appropriate clothes www.ed.ac.uk/schools-departments/english-languageteaching/ courses/academic-purposes/in-session/team-test 3.
