Digital Marketing Executive
Responsible to:
Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager/ Head of Sales & Marketing
Main purpose of job: Plan and implement digital marketing activities across a range of
channels in order to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets for
Galgorm Resort & Spa and Fratelli Belfast. Focus on cross-platform
digital advertising, website maintenance & conversion, e-marketing
and the generation and distribution of content across the Resorts
departments and brands.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
 Plan and execute all web, email, social media (to include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,
Snapchat and Pinterest) and work in unison with the Head of Sales & Marketing to
manage the coordination of all digital campaigns.
 Contribute and then oversee the social media strategy for Galgorm Resort & Spa,
including the development and management of engaging content, which will be
evidenced in the weekly & monthly reporting of all activity.
 Liaise with our Partners at NetAffinity to help improve the usability, design, content and
conversion of the brand & corporate websites (Including Fratelli, Belfast).
 Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns in conjunction with the wider Sales &
Marketing Team.
 Coordinate and take responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital
marketing activity, in conjunction with the Head of Sales & Marketing
 Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against
goals (ROI and KPIs). Including financial reporting of campaign spend against budgets.
 Identify trends and insights, optimizing campaign spend and performance based on the
 An innate grasp of commercial value and ability to measure the success or failure of a
 Contribute ideas to continually review and assess processes and performance
 A dedication to the discovery and utilisation of the latest tools & techniques in digital
 An ‘always-be-testing’ mentality with a focus on continuous improvement and optimisation
 Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and other analytical tools, identifying key metrics
and using these to inform future campaign strategy
 Undertake competitor and market analysis to gather opportunities and inform strategic
 Manage and optimise social advertising across multiple platforms whilst keeping a close
eye on budgets and ROI
 Champion digital across the business to drive forward digitalisation of our brand & our
corporate profile.
Essential Criteria:
 3rd Level Qualification in a related or similar discipline
 At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a fast paced industry, preferably
 Demonstrable previous experience of creating and executing social media marketing
campaigns and online PR
 Ability to work as part of a team & autonomously
 Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload
 Superb understanding of organic search and the wider digital environment
 Problem solving skills, including the ability to manage conflicting work demands
 Demonstrable attention to detail
 Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines
 Must be very hands on with a highly proactive and positive ‘can do’ attitude
