Purpose of the role:
To support and assist the Consumer Marketing team with all digital marketing activities in the French
market, including online campaigns, social media activity, community management, search engine
marketing, e-newsletters, customer database management, content marketing and website updates.
The programme of digital activities contributes to the delivery of French visitor targets and market
KPIs in line with the agreed strategies for the French market and Tourism Ireland’s global corporate
objectives.

The Duties – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1. Assist with implementation of digital campaigns.
2. Update the market’s website with new and campaign-related content. This will require frequent
translations from English to French and a proficiency in using our CMS tool to create campaign
pages.
3. Ensure consumer databases are kept up-to-date.
4. Create and dispatch e-newsletters.
5. Assist with social media strategy including Facebook and Twitter content creation, community
management, and bloggers’ relationships.
6. Assist with control, optimisation and evaluation of Search Engine Marketing activities.
7. Assist with Content Marketing strategy and Paid Content Dissemination campaigns.
8. Furnish assistance to the Paris office team on IT issues.
9. Such other duties as the company may from time-to-time reasonably require including
attendance at events, shows and fam trips as necessary.

The Person

A strong knowledge and interest in all things online and an interest in new technologies, emarketing and social media trends.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a digital marketing environment
with involvement in activities such as online promotional campaigns, database management,
community management, and Google AdWords.
Strong IT skills including MS Office, Internet, CMS tools, emailing tools, HTML and Photoshop.
Bilingual with fluent written and spoken French and English.
Flexible with excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle a number of tasks and
projects simultaneously.
An ability to work both independently and as a team member.
